Tammy J. Schemmel Shareholder, Board of Directors
Tammy is a shareholder in the Commercial Real Estate department and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. With over fifteen years of experience, Tammy handles a wide variety of commercial real estate matters. She has significant experience in representing buyers and sellers of hotels and landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions. She represents owners of office, warehouse, and retail properties in leasing matters for approximately 12,000,000 square feet of space, including four first class buildings in downtown Minneapolis.
Tammy also has experience litigating commercial real estate matters and she employs that knowledge while negotiating commercial real estate transactions. Before joining Barna, Guzy & Steffen, she served as a clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Janie S. Mayeron of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
