We first want to acknowledge that you should not be drinking and driving or taking any substances that will affect your motor skills, as it is against the law and should be avoided at all costs. This will eliminate the officer from watching you gather the information needed and pre-judge if you are intoxicated or not. Also remember to be polite to the officer. When pulled over, a police officer may ask you to step out of the car. This is because they want to pat you down for their safety. You should comply with this and do not say anything. This is another tactic that can be used against you in court, so you should politely tell the officer no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the police officers arrest you and places you into their car, do not do anything or say anything. This is a situation where you need to remain calm and not say a word.
